About Bella Musica Flute and Harp Duo

Darice Augustson, harp, holds a Bachelor of Music in Harp & Voice from the University of St. Francis. Over the years, she has done much solo work as well as performing with various chamber and symphony orchestras,concert bands and ensembles in Virginia, Oklahoma and Missouri. Darice is very involved with hospice and co-founded Harps for the Heart, a non-profit organization that provides music at the bedside for hospital and hospice patients. Darice teaches privately and is the adjunct Professor of Harp at Missouri State University.

Laura Killingsworth, flute, holds a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Drury University and a Master of Music in flute performance from Missouri State University. An active freelance musician, Laura performs with area chamber ensembles, Springfield Regional Opera, Springfield Little Theater, principal flutist in the Springfield Civic Orchestra and is an on-call musician with the Springfield Symphony. As a teacher, Laura operates a large studio of flute students, where she teaches privately and directs the flute choir.
